Today was my last day in le Marche region of Italy. For our send off, my class had a celebratory dinner. We went to Terrazzo del duca, a short walk from the piazza. For dinner I got the ravioli stuffed with salmon, which was amazing by the way. We also had two bottles of Ca'Rugate to share, a sweeter wine which was an interesting flavor but not something I would get again probably. Our waitress wanted us to do family style, but we each ended up getting something different. The food was outstanding however and so was the company. I am going to miss le Marche region, but am also excited to explore other parts of Italy. I learned that travel journalism is a time consuming job, but can be extremely rewarding. It allows you to think of things a different way and make deeper connections with people and places. I'm not sure if I would do it again, but this experience has given me tools I will definitely use in my future career. I am already planning my next return to Italy ;) Thank you for checking out my blog! Although this will be the last post, check out my website at http://juliadallas.com for updates.
