Day 6: The Sugar Cafe in Urbino

Instead of meeting in the classroom, today my group met at the Sugar Cafe. Giovanni Garbugli made us his delicious special drinks again and gave us snacks. The empty cup pictured is the first drink, a mix of coffee and chocolate. The second drink was a spritzer with fresh oranges. It tasted very fruity and was sweet but not too sweet. Giovanni and his family are always great hosts to our class and I appreciate all the work they did for us. I also met an anthropology professor from Urbino. He was very animated when he talked even though he spoke little English. I definitely recommend going to the Sugar Cafe for great food, drinks and friendly faces. It is located near where the market is on Saturday's. You must go up the VERY steep hill and then you take a left when you get to the top. You walk down the road, cross the street and then it is a right after the cross walk. You can always Google maps it before you leave as well.
